Always with a slight twist: comparitive elements within the same image such as young versus old, village versus city etc. Photographs are constructions of light, shadows and shapes looked at through an increasingly discriminating eye. One minute Jack can be capturing an area that covers many square metres; the next he is down on hands and knees composing a detail that is just a few centimetres in size, at this point scale and size no longer matter this is where colour, texture, pattern, shape and form are the primary elements of the image and the subject take a step forward.
